Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse value
Hi everyone ! !
I would like to know how much is worth a German Iron Cross that my dad brought back when he fought in WW2.
I think it's a second class with the years 1813 and 1939 engraved in it, I don' t have the ribbon though.
He served in the Canadian forces and I have a bunch of old pictures of his whole battalion as well.

Your ID of it is correct. Values for these here in the UK are around £90. Without the ribbon a little less.

I agree, the '4' is clear on the ring but the '2' is a little wonky.
Pretty sure its a 24. I have its brother with no ribbon too!

This is a typical cross from the maker '24' with typical unclear date. The value is no more or less than any other standard EK2. This maker is quite common to find.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
