Eisernes Kreuz EK1 by Fr.Orth (15) brass core

This one came this week....
its a typical Fr.Orth with brass core
The Orths have a center point in the middle of the rim on the top frame, so its easy 2 see where the ring should be if used for a EK2
Its a bit salty but i like the crisp details on the core!
It has tons of character!
I would like everyone who has a brass core Fr.Orth to post their EK1 here also, that would make a nice tread!

A very nice like you say salty cross. I do like the details on this 1....very sharp indeed..The different coloured pin is nice too cheers for sharing Terry....

Terry this one has been found last year is an old basement in the South of Holland....its seen its days of war!

sorry that these pictures have artifacts in them. they did not turn out right and are being redone so the defects in coloration you see in the blacks etc. are not really there. i'll post better ones when they come in.
