Blimey Carl! That's a challenge! Best I can suggest is an original '24'.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Indeed it is a challenge Adrian. I'm trying to get some better shots as those above aren't really good enough. I appreciate your thoughts though.

I've just studied a few close ups of original "24's" and after comparing them to the images above, I think that you have nailed it Adrian. The form of the numbers and the wider frame seem exact. I like it. Thanks again!
