Eisernes Kreuz, For your Consideration

Gentlemen: This is been in my collection for over 15 years now and I have no idea if it is an orginial example or reproduction. I bought this in the early years of collecting when I would buy anything from WWII. I have narrowed my scope of collecting and Third Reich items are no longer in that scope. I would sincerely appreciate your opinions.

The big giveaway is the "1939". This is very poorly done and in a font not used on originals.

I'll add a little more......
The cross is made in one piece, the hinge, pin and catch on the reverse is unlike anything found on originals, it also has a bogus makers mark added. The beading and quality of the cross is very poor and, as Ade has pointed out, the date is completely wrong in terms of style compared to original EKs.
