The "3" in the 1939 looks odd and so does the pin! Just my opinion!

I had a feeling the pin looked funny, but I didn't want to give a bad review and cost him an EK1. It strikes me as a copy, but I'll defer to the real authorities.

Is it not an original Klein & Quenzer with a replaced pin?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Does that look like a soldering job at the top of the pin? If so, not a very good one. Also, do you notice quite a difference between the color of the metal on the pin and metal on the reverse?

Ok, forgetting the reverse for a moment, does the front match a K&Q in terms of beading and date?
