No-one knows what a F&B EK looks like or indeed if they ever made them!
Nick has all crosses except ''60''. So he can post his other ''10'' for us to compare.

Really? Was it discussed?
No , he just put it up on estand with some other nice marked EK2s, not brought up for discussion ,unlike the '49' and the spurious Godet that another member put up for sale!!

That was my first '10' as I didnt think (and still not sure) if they exist !

Nice cross Nick. I 've ever seen another one. Nice stamp, don't seems fake but I 'm more for a replacement ring for this EK.
It remains an interesting cross !

I like the stamp too Fabri. If the ring wasn't broken I would be comfortable with it. Has anyone got a '10' stamped medal or award of any description so we can compare the markings?

I have seen many broken rings on EK2s, I didnt think it nessessarily meant they were dodgy ?

I have seen many broken rings on EK2s, I didnt think it nessessarily meant they were dodgy ?

It doesn't mean they're dodgy Nick, but when you add a maker mark from a maker who may or may not have made EKs to a broken ring which is then found on a cross that no-one can reference against that maker it may be the case the ring has been stamped post war or it has been replaced at some point in time.
I actually like the mark but I'm not keen on it being on a broken ring.
