I'm sure it's original too Jock but again, like you, not completely sure of the maker. Any chance of a straight on close up of the swastika and the inner corners of the beading?

it might be down to my crap photography, I will try tomorrow outside in daylight to get a better straight on shot.

I don't think it's a Meybauer, but i recognize the core. I will take a look in my database, and see if I can find it.

Meybauer produced about 6-7 core dies, so dates all have bit differences. Probably they produced some frames too, so the 2 crosses showed in this thread in my opinion are Meybauers but just they cames not from the same die.
Please take new pics from vertical view, big pictures please.
