EK II unmarked 109 question

I have two questions about my last purchase, is the paper bag always some oversized for this maker, and inside the bag i find some piece of a kind of cotton, would the EK II beeing wraped in it, because i always thought it would be a paper like a lens cleaning paper.

Very nice set, i have to say ive never seen the cotton there before ? but over time things like this would get lost i guess?

normal is tissue paper,but a great cross.

That cotton is not original to the envelope. Strange that
the short ribbon has been creased by the suspension
ring - it's possibly a put together set.........
