I am so pleased and, I would like to thank everyone who has helped me (a newbie) out. It's great to know that I have the real thing and some of the history behind the manufacture. Who these were awarded to and where they have been I will never know... Still, awesome.

Thank you again, I aim now to watch the threads and to learn as much as I can from you all.

As for the Knight's Cross - I would like to have a genuine one in my collection by next Sep - I need to save or borrow for this one, I sense a few car boot / garage sales!

i know i don't have to say it, but put it up before you buy. not after.

and take your time looking at them. no reason to buy the first one that comes along.

these things are a relatively serious endeavor.
