    Had no idea the Iron cross was issued with a screwback. How common was this if you don't mind me asking Nick?

    You dont see many around Mac. This is my second SB, the other is a bit saltier. They are not as in good a condition as their PKZ cousin I have

    This interests me as the soviet order of the red star (of which I own two) were screwback issued. I was wondering why the Iron cross was issued in screwback form, as I've never seen it before. Was it unique to a particular manufacturer?

    The Screwbacks were issued as a private purchase by a number of manufacturers
