EK1 Screwback.Original?

Please find attached 2 pictures of the screwback fitting for your perusal/ comment.

Having spoken with the seller on the phone, he noticed that the disk was not a perfect fit as there seems to have been another, slightly larger, disk on this cross and it may be a replacement.

If this in fact the case would this make a great deal of difference to the asking price?

It looks like a brass or copper piece. I wouldn't be comfortable with it and it should bring the price down.
