    Hey there guys,
I found an EK1 for a good price, but is it real? And the NSDAP button? Real or fake?

I moved the Verwundetenabzeichen to a new thread in the correct forum. It's best to post separate items in their own threads in the correct forums.

Start a new thread for the party badge in the Non Combat forum.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    We know.

As requested, please start a new thread on each item in the correct forums and you will get the answers you desire.

    Cheers, Ade.

It's difficult to tell much from these poor photographs, but I don't like the look of that EK1 in post #12, it looks like a one piece fake to me.

As to the party badge, these are not my area at all, and I may be wrong but I had thought that they would be marked with either the 'Ges Gesch' stamp or with the RZM code, but not with both. It doesn't make sense to me.

Personally, I would avoid them. They are both common pieces and it is easy to find good 'textbook' examples, so hold out for the real thing.

    Regards - Danny

The EK1 is a very bad fake. 1 piece and not magnetic. just lost 100 euro's and the seller is not responding to me while he promised a refund if it was a fake. I feel very stupid.

The seller sais that only the ek2 is made out of 3 pieces. and that an ek1 should not always be magnetic. only the early ones. can someone PLEASE help me.. I beg you guys.
