    Greetings. This EK2 was given to me by a German colleague. It belonged to his father who was station in (renamed after WW2) Campbell Barracks in Heidelberg. He served in the Russian Front (I was also given his wound badge and parade medals).
    This has no marking on the ring. It is magnetic. Ideas on origin? Thanks!

    Cameron is correct. It is original and looks like a Steinhauer & Luck type.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    The black paint on it looks great too. barely faded at all
