Hi. Does anyone have a clue what maker "75" is? The site selling it says that 75 still is a unknown maker. Thinking about buying it, just because it's alittle mystery about it.

Maker '75' is still an unknown maker. I find it very strange that it should be so but it still is! I can't believe that there is no record or list of makers that lists '75' and the name behind the number.
The cross itself is good example, the core looks a little rough that looks like corrosion under the paint. Note also the dates, the numerals are quite distinctive.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
As Adrian says, good cross and unknown maker.

Okey, well hopefully someone will figure out who the maker is in the future.
I found it in an RZM list. Also their LDO number was L/65.
Look at www.militaria-archive.com
or www.janssen-militaria.com
Seems to be a great complete list.

Nice one Joe,
We may all have learned something today
