Nice original Grossman EK2 Nick! Compare to mine, they both have a little identifying feature/flaw which is found on some (but not all) crosses by this maker.
I'll let you find it........

You gave up too easily Nick!

I should've posted an example without the flaw for a 'spot the difference'!
Anyway, take a look where the arrow points to. There is a small bump of excess material at the edge of the beading on the obverse and reverse frames. This can be a feature to bear in mind to identify Grossman EK2s. Like I said earlier, not all crosses will have this bump but alot do.

Is it possible to have a clear close up of date 1939 ?
Any certainty about the real manufacturer of these crosses ?
I want to say, who produced frame and cores ?
Grossmann was the producer or just was an assembler ??
These questions because we can find the same frame and core design in EKI by Hoffstätter. In fact it 's known a partnership of these 2 factories.

Adrian, it looks as if this flaw is mirrored on the other side from your 1st pictures. Is that correct?
