A feature of crosses from this maker is that they always stamped their number on the join of the ribbon ring in the soft solder. No example has been found yet with the number stamped anywhere different.
Can you confirm this on your cross Nick?

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Thanks for confirming Nick. It's a useful authenticating feature.

Here's the mark on my cross.

    Very nice cross Nick.

    "Stamped bang on the join!"

Here's my '66', which is unusual in that the ring is double stamped...
and both stamps are "bang on the join!"

Nice one Danny! That must be very unusual. Does it double its value

All nice crosses. Nick I like your frosted EKII.
Very interesting that one with double mark showed by Danny. Recently I have seen another one with double "65".
Here is mine, one of the 1st crosses I got for my little EKII collection.
I like it 'cause is untouched with a great patina. Adri, you 're right, all EKIIs showed here have stamp on solder.
