Well, I see MANY differences between them. Check out the number "3" in "1813" for instance. Very different.

Yes, the numerals are very different in style and as Kenneth says, the '3's are very different. Check the form and font of them against each other and the differences will become apparent.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Yeap i think i can see it now that you spotted it. Number ''1'' is more clear that is different.

Yes, they are very different! Just take a close look and they will be very clear.

It's identified it as a Wachtler & Lange contract piece for Juncker with the correct L/12. The 2 in L/12 are covered with solder from the ring. But just much better. It means that the stamp was there before the ring, so it's not a postwar stamp.

Good question Jànos. This is the uncommon frame seems to me called wideframe Schinkel and the die comes from pre-war AWS factory. The term "Schinkel" is not accepted from some, not all.
