Hi all, I haven't posted in a year or so, so I thought I'd show off my newest addition to the collection. A first pattern second class spange by Boerger, this is the less seen one with the two central prongs instead of four. I heard word that this two prong example may have actually been a Schickle though I'm not sure.

I'm quite in love with this one, as it's been uniform removed. This is apparent from the shape of the ribbon, the loose threads, and the heavy tarnish on the reverse from years of rubbing up against the ribbon.

I bought this from Giel if anyone here knows him.

All opinions and critique is welcome!

    Thumbs up Spange

    Hello,
That’s a great piece. The two prong type has so far eluded me. Outstanding pictures too.

You have the two prong version without tail. There are other two prong versions as you can see in my post EKII Spanges. Jim
