When Band of Brothers was filmed over here, quite a lot of the guys who I used to Extra with seemed to end up with loads of bits and pieces, helmets, equipment , mostly repro but there were a number of original helmets used, i worked on one for a friend who wanted a real liner fitted, a great looking M42 with camo and netting and it was very well done and would fool quite a few, i think it was used in the scene of Brecourt Manor as this guy was one of the gun crews, he wore it in many other scenes throughout filming as well as American forces
