identification of Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse

Hi guys,

I just aquired this EK 2 at a very reasonably price. Normally I only go for makers marked crosses, but I could not turn this one down

I would very much appriciate, if anyone could be helpful with a maker of this cross.

It looks like you got a '23' with Meybauer core in great condition, congrats Marc!

Some of the pics are small though.

Nick, I have a Maybauer 1 class screwback, and they really look like the same core !!
I will try to take some better pics tomorrow, I only had my phone at hand today :-/

Did mm 23 use several different iron cores for their crosses ? I have seen others on this forum with different cores !
