I would appreciate any thoughts and information on this Iron Cross, which was awarded to my grandfather on successful military leadership during World War II.
The black iron center is magnetic. Size: 44mm by 44mm.
Best regards,
Broewen

Please post larger, clear, straight on, obverse and reverse photos to help to determine who the maker of this cross is.
Angled photos do not help.

Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
OK, my bad. Lesson learned!
I might need a better camera for macro shots. Very hard to take a shot of dark center in a low light but I try to get better ones.
Hard to see details from these pics. By the looks of the frame and reverse date I tend to say a nice Grossmann - '11'.
Keep it in the family.

Nick
