Neither of these is a 'Little Brother'.
The one on the left is a '24', the one on the right is an Otto Schickle.
I really hope you didn't pay the price of a little brother.
Here is a 'Little Brother' for you to compare to:

Very true Adrian !
Me and my wife (and she knows bugger all about militaria) which is a bonus for me as she can never tell when an "extra" small fortune has popped up in my cabinet!! By the way ,those look like nice EK's and a schinkel? What is a "little brother"? Please excuse my ignorance on this one but I am not an EK collector! Leon.
A Schickle Leon, not a Schinkel.
Otto Schickle was a manufacturer of TR awards for a limited time whereas a Schinkel cross is a collectors term for those EKs which retain the shape of the Imperial crosses as invented by Karl Friedrich Schinkel.
Here is an illustration, the 'regular EK2 is on the right, the Schinkel is on the left with a 'Half Schinkel' between them. Note the shape of the arms of the crosses.
The 'Little Brother' is a filed down version of the Ubergrosse. The Ubergrosse EK2 is one that is slightly bigger than a regular EK2. The 'Little Brother' is one of these crosses but the arms are filed down to bring them down to the same size as a regular EK2.
Again, see below for some illustrations.
