"In all my years as a soldier, I have never seen men fight so hard." - SS Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Bittrich - Arnhem
Now I'm confused! Is it a '125' or a '56'?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Nice one Mark...Love the sound of the display
Good day gents I have just finished my new display for my MM 56 Eisernes Kreuz 2nd Klass please excuse my photos as the lighting was not so good and some of the photos were taken in a pitch black room. I will take some daylight photos tomorrow after work I will not bore you all with how I built the display and wired it etc...That I will post under new displays any and all comments welcome.
Regards Mark K
Mark just to warn you Iron crosses can be a curse if your collection is not just TR Awards. I say this because they are awesome to hold in hand and make you want to get more and more and more. I got my first iron cross about 2 or 3 years ago, since then i have gotten four more, but my focus is finishing a German Infantry display. However those dam iron crosses keep getting to my head and i want to buy more... moral of the story, be careful the can be like sort of the ring form the lord of the rings.
BTW Very nice cross
-Derrick
Thanks Derrick and you are right they are an awsome and spell binding award I am most fortunate to have this incredible MM56 and an Imperial Iron Cross which is as far as I can tell an unknown maker .And I would love to add a clamshell Deumer to my collection .
Regards Mark K
Looks Great Mark, and i'm sure the pics dont do it justice
