Bought one at last. Marked "15", which from what I have found out is a Friedrich Orth from Wien. What do you think on this one?
Thanks in advance, Simon.

Hi Simon,
Can you post a good, close up of the front and back please and also of the makers mark? I'm not convinced it is a '15' at the moment, one of the features of Orth crosses doesn't seem to be there......
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Adrian, on the case, bear with me a sec.
Thanks, Simon.
Some close ups. Sorry Adrian this is the best I can get with my camera.
Last photo, top left of the cross, looks like there is a "B" ???
It's a Steinhauer & Luck - mm '4', a good solid example for your first cross!
The 'B' is just a mark on the frame, not put there on purpose.
Here is a '4' mark on one of my examples compared to yours.....
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Thank you Adrian, It's such a relief to know that it is genuine and not a fake.
Do you know any information, like numbers made, of EK2's made by Steinhauer & Luck ?
Thanks for your help, Simon

I have absolutely no idea! Many thousands.......?
Steinhauer & Luck frames can be found on many EKs by many makers, then there are the unmarked examples - did they come from S&L or from some of the other makers? An impossible question to answer unfortunately.
