Article about: Hello everyone, Just received my new EK2 - unmarked but seems in great condition. What do you think ? Any clue on the manufacturer ? Thanks! Reagrds, Ghibli

    Hello,

    Many thanks for having posted your photos.
    I think (with my non expert eyes) that my EK2 is probably not a P&C, as Fabri suggested. On this nice P&C example, it looks the inner beadings (surrounding the swastika)are not rounded, but seems that there is a straight line that chamfers the usually rounded part, to aligne the swastika border - interesting anyway!
    So may well be a Walter & Henlein cross.

    Thanks for posting Sonny. My first thoughts on Ghibli's cross were way off, definitely not a P&C. I remember yours well now, interesting it's just the obverse part of the core which is different from the 'normal' P&C EK2s, the reverse is undoubtedly what you would expect to see from this maker.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
