The 'X' on Sonny's cross and others shown here are common on this type of Round 3 EK2. Your cross is not a 'Round 3' type as you can see on the number '3's in the date on your cross. The top of the '3's are flat, not round.
There are several EKs that have a cross of some description in the inner corners of the frame, however, they also occur on Floch crosses along with several other distinguishing features.
