    I am glad I am not alone. Its incredible to see some displays in living rooms and bedrooms inside illuminated glass cabinets,with flags, helmets etc adorning the room. They are obviously single guys

    im so jealous of you guys.ive started collecting again after a 13 year interval.boy what a difference in buying now.i used to have lots of ww2 german stuff usual story the ex wife sold everything when i was offshore, during our divorce lol.now im getting back into it but spend a lot of time contacting paypal to complain ha ha,but i know theres good guys out there will be patient.

    Mine are only in this temproary storage facility until I finish my collection, then they'll be framed and on display!

    My study/office/war-room. Please excuse the mess... It will be much better when I get another job and earn the right to display the other 3 helmets I have in hiding and also the 3 display frames worth of stuff I have stashed away.

    That is how felt when starting back collecting after nearly 30 years!!

    Thanks Nick, now if Mrs Stickgrenade can see how tasteful 3R awards can look you might be able to get just one display case of your favourites onto the wall...then you leave it a month or so then ease a second onto the wall then increase or decrease the rate of additions depending on the domestic climate. That was my approach!

    We (the guy's (and girls!!) of the forum) could organise a Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
    We' ll do it with fake camera's, send you wife away to a hotel for 48 hours( it's good you own one!!) and when she comes back ...; the surprise!!
    We ll tell here thise is the new wave of decorating,we'll show here the picture on internet( don't forget to change the name of the WRF forum into a home decorating forum!!)
    and when she ask's when it will be on tele....
    .....please could someone take over i ran out of inspiration ....!!!
