    Here you go Ingrid, a marked Meybauer to compare.....

    Did Meybauer use any variants on the cores? I ask because there is a slight difference in the reverse dates. The first '1' in 1813 looks alot shorter on Ingrid's cross.

    Hi Adrian,
    I checked it and they are the same. It's dust visible because of flash (optical illusion). If you look at the second time I posted pics, you'll see they are even. So Meybauer it is!!!
    You also have a nice Meybauer and nice pics, I really need to buy a camera with 'macro-function'.

    Hi Adrian, yes there are about 6 different cores by Meybauer, they were showed by Robert P. in a very nice study.
