Very nice cross, Anton! Thanks for showing.
As for the maker, could it be a Paulmann & Crone?
Regards
You people impress me yet again. Since this is my chance to learn...
What do you look at when identifying an unmarked cross? Obviously the dates are considered, but what else? Are the swastika, beading, frame, etc important?
Paulmann & Crone EK2s are quite unique. The dates are the biggest identifying feature, there is no other maker with this style and also notice how the '1' and '9' are joined together on the obverse. The frames are also used, the beading patterns on the inner corners, a fat suspension ring and a smaller, thicker than usual ribbon ring.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Bravo Ingrid

I'm happy I got it right!
It took me almost one hour last night; to find the one that matches in the crosses posted by you, Nick!
I'll remember this maker now.
Regards
Nick was so excited he forgot how to spell his name!
