That is true but some people's experience with a dealer might be completely different from someone else's. Very often you will hear of a dealer putting things right quickly and correctly with one person yet mucking another about. Like I said, dealers can be recommended on individual experience but it should only be used as a pointer and doesn't mean you will get the same experience.
I second that Adrian. I have often had good experiences with dealers that I have seen others bash online.

I couldn't trust an online dealer where you don't get closeup images of the obverse and reverse of each piece.

That's the only thing I don't quite like with Klaus Butschek's online shop Glenn. It shouldn't be too difficult to provide clear closeup obverse/reverse pictures for every item, so I don't quite understand why a respected dealer like him doesn't do it.

Klaus does post multiple shots of his items, have you checked out his new website? Its a great improvement over the old one.

Hi all, I would be very interested in what you good chaps thought of the RK that Ruptured Duck has, which has just been reduced in price. All comments gratefully welcomed, is it expensive, is it 100% gen etc!!!

Re: Newcomer to the forum with a query re a Ritterkreuz!
Looks like a good L 12 800 Juncker , all the characteristics are fine , the L 12 marked loop does make it a rare one , the price is about par for the course for a genuine RK and Bill Shea has an excellent reputation.
