    Good evening, Gentlemen.
What is the opinion on this Oakleave?
It is not related to the cross - I know who was given this EK2(Danish SS-voluntier) and he did not get the oakleave..
Dont want to risk breaking it, so it stays on.
Could it perhapse be a "Fieldmade" piece?
    Friendly regards -Søren.

I would say that this one is a repro just going by the lack of detail to this one

Hi,personally I cannot see any quality in the Oak leaf clasp. I know that the clasp was often attached to a second class EK so as not to lose the original in the field but this does not look like one of those, sorry but I would give this one a WIDE berth. Leon.

The oakleaves are a poor fake i'm afraid and as no Danish volunteer won the Eichenlaub an original would never have been attached to a RK or an EKII in the palce of an RK for Field wear !
