What do you mean Chris? In terms of them being fakes, certainly not ok. They do tend to have slightly thicker suspension rings as you can tell from the pic above, otherwise they're very good fakes. Harder to spot that the Floch type, the dates and frames are good and have fooled many collectors.
They may have evolved over the years and the pimple eliminated, I believe there is a generation of L/18 marked crosses which might well come from the same maker. They are very good fakes and as such, any L/18 marked cross should be thorougly checked out before buying.

This is exactly what i meant
Other fakes that i have spotted had bad or wrong dates and/or swastikas.
This particular seemed very real to me because of the core and date. If it wasn't marked 333 i would be fooled.
