Hey man, you found one then? To me it looks honest, but I am more at home looking under a tranny's skirt as you know

    It looks absolutely fine Todd.

It appears from the pics to be a Klein & Quenzer. There is padding beneath the ribbon and it all looks like it's been there forever, the suspension ring is bound to the mount too which is a good sign.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Nope not a cross to be found here, I do need a couple to bling the walls up a little bit. I thought about bidding on one during KB's last auction but it went mental.

Speaking of EK's, where is Nick? Not seen him around for a while.

Thanks Adrian. I hadn't notice the possible K&Q connection. I will ask if its marked, that's if it can be seen.

@ Andy: Isn't it funny how we say those prices were mental for mint crosses, but we drop 1-2,000 on some helmets. Maybe we are the mental ones!

Seller can't see the maker mark. I'm going to compare it to my K&Q.

K&Q's can be found with and without maker's marks.
    Like the mount.

Indeed, I have examples of marked and unmarked. Probably my favorite maker
