Could you get some pics of the catch & hinge? And the makers mark stamp on the pin? If is too small to get a pic of,can you see what it says. Stewy S

All three look okay to me, I've seen EK's aged like this before.
on both sides of the neadle there appears to be a stamp... but i can't figure ouit what it says because it is very tiny
Looks like your EK1 is an honest Steinhauer & Luck, Ludenscheid.
Tom
hi there
the ek1 looks fine
can you please upload better pics of the needle markings
as i have never seen a double marked pin before
cheers j
Haven't seen a double marked pin yet, but have seen them with "4" on pin and "L16" under the clasp. Clear close up photos are definitely needed.
Tom
thanks for all your thoughts
so, like tom said:
the 4 is indeed on one side of the neadle, a very clear stamp although small, but profound
on the inside of the neadle, is also something engraved, also very tiny or rather blurred, and my camara can't focus on it
but anyway, thanks for everybodys opinions.. it's still not 100 procent clear if it's real or not. I did do some carefull cleaning on it and a lot of dirt and oxidation came off
hello
we need to see the marks on the pin
whit that its an easy spot to say good or not
not that the 4 and L/16 dont help but we need to see the way it is diced/made
