Nothing wrong with this one Rory, the damage doesn't detract from the look of the cross. Note the makers mark is slightly curved, this shows that Wachtler & Lange used the same stamp for their EK1s and EK2s. The curved stamp matches the curve of a ribbon ring.

cheers Adrian, i noticed the numbers are very faint that may explain why, as if it were the ek2 stamp it wouldnt be for a piece of flat metal but the ring where the numbers on the stamp would have made a better connection. Ill take another pic in daylight as the condition is extraordinary. I'd love to know where it has been with its condition and who tried to butcher such a nice looking thing?
