Anyway the story goes the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuze
Was taken of a dead waffen ss soldier during the budapest skirmish and had sat in an antiques store for 70 odd years and this guy brought it back with him 2 years ago while he was on holiday there. But i know not to buythe story just the item unless its 100% proven

Sorry, but I cannot agree with Ade, it isn't bad.... it's absolutely terrible! It looks to have been cast from zinc, note the 'grey' look to the metal.

Awful cast copy, the worst that I have ever seen.
Best regards,

Certainly is one of the worst i've seen , truly awful .
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
