thank you very much, Ingrid.
the items i have been slowly posting here and there over the past few months have been with me for years in some cases. i'm a relatively new member to this wonderful forum and resisting the temptation to just plaster the place wall-to-wall with stuff, i wait for a quiet day to show a piece or two!
Sounds like you collect only mint/minty crosses ? i myself have a couple of minty items but i much prefer worn/used condition as they can tell a story where these minty ones have been kept shut away in a desk/drawer for all these years !

Re: Rudolf Wachtler u. Lange eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse
yes, i kind of stick to that little niche.
but don't get me wrong... i have a big appreciation for a good patina and "been there" look. i really do.
it's just that i'm one of those collectors that likes to stick to a pretty narrow focus to make things a little rougher on me. i guess it's a kind of discipline or something.
i have a big love for The Hunt.
but i certainly appreciate the beauty of an "experienced" cross!

Another beauty tempy!
I like both mint and used, not so much abused.
Ralph.
