I don't like the packet.. Does the ribbon glow under UV light?

I must say I don't like the packet either. The rather glossy finish to the paper and the (good) overall quality of the paper are all concerns.

Snni, I don't know about the ribbon, but will check with my black light once I receive it. I should get the set in the next few days and, if the packet in hand looks different from the photos to a decent degree I'll reshoot photos with my camera and repost. I'd hate for the packet to be repro, but it is what it is.

Ok... I just received the Iron Cross, Ribbon and Packet and the packet looks quite a bit different in person; no harsh reflections from a camera flash. I tried to replicate this in the following new photos, which I took without a flash from my camera. Let me know if you all still think the envelope is repro, and why...

This packet is unknown to me, different of a lot other original. Dimensions and font are not correct IMO then it 's unmarked

I've seen examples of packets without maker marks, so I can't say that rules it out.

Here are a few links I've come across showing several different envelope styles, which is why I'm pushing a little bit for more opinions. There seem to be quite a few styles, colors, fonts, and paper materials out there. I realize these links include packets other than ones for the EKII, but they still show variation...

Yes, there are different styles and fronts.
But this one are not a known original EK2 packet and when they are unmarked, it's a big thing to be aware of...
