Today at the show, I picked up these two EKII's. They are both better
    looking than the pics !

    Strangely, a collector/dealer was sure the above W&L is a $10 fake.
( The edges are filed smooth, and between the two halves it is
difficult to see any gaps ) Lol - he said that the war ended in
1945 and even if it was made on the last day, there is
no way it should look this new.........!

    Steve.

Nice EKs Steve, thank you for posting. It sounds like the collector/dealer is one of those you should avoid buying from if he can't identify a genuine EK2...........

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

What matters is that Steve is able to identify an original EK. That way there is always the chance of getting a super deal!
A couple of nice EK's by the way Steve!

    Thanks Adrian and Ralph !

The well known dealer I bought the crosses from would not knowingly
sell bogus items as original - although it can and does happen - as it
could hurt his reputation. However, this well known dealer does
have a box full of fakes and copies that are ID'd as such
    and priced accordingly.

I had the suspicion that if I had returned the cross for a refund,
the guy would have asked where/who I got it from, then gone
over and grabbed it for himself.........!
    Regards,

    Steve.
