Unusual Godet-Marked Oakleaves/Sword Spange

Article about: I've come across this unusual set of Oakleaves/Swords...I am assuming that this is a veteran's private-purchase piece for wear on civilian clothing...Any input is appreciated! Annoyed from t

    or---it could be Imperial. The swords for the HHO and the oaks
    for the Red Eagle. However doubtful.

    That's right.
    I have never seen these oaks used on a mini, either for the early
    Red Eagles or for the 1939 RK so I would be cautious with this one.
    Just because I have not seen them does not mean they don't exsist.

    The typical swords for the HHO is usually seen as the swords and crown.
    But one has to remember---these were private purchase vanity items
    worn on civilian clothes so I am sure lots of variations could be put
    together at the customers request.

    The GMIC forum has a lot about Imperial minis. You might try snooping
    around over there.

    I take back what I just said. This could be for a single award.
    it could be for the Red Eagle Order with swords and oaks.

    The ribbon used would have been the same ribbon for a
    EK2.

    Here is an example of the smaller devices would look like
