Very poor fake Ritterkreuz for sale.

apart from the ribbon looking a bit too 'new' i couldnt spot any indication it was fake

is that your Godet/zimmerman adrian?

Look at the inner corners of the frame, those four corners that are nearest the swastika on the front and the same corners on the back. Note how rounded they are. No original RK has inner corners as rounded as this. Look at the beading and the shape of the arms, the dates and overall appearance compared to the Godet/Zimmermann. The quality is much lower on the fake.

Thanks for the tips and comparison Adrian. I did stare at it for several minutes before I started to see half of what you mean!
It's still really subtle to me though i gotta admit!
thank goodness for forums like these and people like Adrian who take the time to help a noob
