That's not a good sign !
I don't like the look of the paint either........
Can you post a close-up shot of the edge ?
Anyone else ?
Regards,
Steve.
Personally, I wouldn't want this one in my collection. Aside from what (the other) Steve mentioned, that is one jacked up looking '1813'...

walkwolf & Steve Thanks a lot .I try to get more pics,Hope they're working.
Kevin,
Unless those are just hard shadows on the inside of the beaded edge, I almost certain the core has been repainted.

Hi Steve
I think you're right, they're not hard shadows inside the edge. It's probably repainted.Besides the repainted issue. Is it still an authentic WWI medal?thanks again.
BTW I got it with the other two medals. The seller guarantee these three are all authentic WWI medals.
Your photos just aren't very clear or close enough. They would be better
if taken in daylight using Macro camera setting.
The Kaiser Centennial and Hungarian commemorative seem
to be OK, even with a ribbon suspension ring replacement.
Still having doubts about the cross.
Too many red flags........
If it were me, I'd return them !
Regards,
Steve.
