Hi folks I picked this up recently. Bernhard Augustin served with Inf Reg 461, Afika brigade 999 (a penal unit) & then Pz Gren Reg. Rhodos. He was awarded the ISA, BWB, Ost medal, EK2, KVK2 w/s & Oct 1938 medal. Stewy

A very nice find, with plenty to read!
The man sure got around (Germany - Poland - France - Russia - Belgium - Italy - Greece) and - although he never won any particularly high awards or decorations - had a rather distinguished service record and a considerable level of skills, qualifications and experience.
No doubt he had many interesting stories to tell!
You should"watermark" your photos before posting Sir.
