Just acquired this in a grouping of items including a beautiful Luftwaffe double decal helmet( SEE THIS THREAD). What kind of Lufty ID is this? The ID is left of the playing cards...

I'm afraid it's nothing military-related:

This is an ID card for the account-holder of a postal savings account.

The text on the ID informs us that it was for postal savings book no. 2.052.900, that deductions from the account were only possible when submitting both the savings book and the ID card and that the card was to be kept separate from the book. (for security reasons)

Hi Justin,
It's a SOLDBUCH paybook that does not state what branch of service it is for. CLICK HERE for an example. I think it's for a soldier to log hours for wages. Mine is completely empty, unfortunately, so I have no idea what it's worth.
