What an excellent and pretty rare grouping with history of his whole career , i really like this one !!
Thanks ! There is a lot more, much of it either pre-war or post-war. As a Sudeten German he could not return home after the war, following the Czech expulsion of the German community. I also have the "Fluchtlings Ausweis" issued to him as a "refugee".

Have you any idea who the SS Sturmbannfuhrer was who was the Korps Adjutant when he joined the General Kommando ?

    Hi Paul,

I'm not big on SS stuff, I only have one other SS-Soldbuch , to a Feldgendarmerie Hauptscharführer from Frundsberg, but I was able to track down this signature and it is Hermengild Graf von Westphalen who later went on to command the "Danmark" Regiment.

Excellent my main area of interest is the Narva Battles where Hermengild Graf von Westphalen was severely wounded whilst crossing the rail bridge from his Regiments defensive area in the bridgehead , he died of those wounds and is buried in Tallinn Marjumaa Soldatenfriedhof , i've not seen his signature before
