Sorry everyone i forgot to post a couple of pages. Here are the rest.
The reason i thought it might have been doctored with is because i used the name and date of birth on the German war graves search and that is what came up and the town of birth matched as well. Anyway thanks for your comments and help

The first i have seen from the Das Reich battle Group that remained in Russia in early 1944 after the main part of the Divison departed for France at Christmas 1943 . The last Kampfgruppe will be Weidinger as Otto weidinger took command after Lammerding was ordered to france to take over Das Reich on 8/3/1944.

Thanks Paul, that's it, Weidinger! This means he was killed the same day he was assigned to Kampfgruppe Weidinger, on 4.15.44...

Weidinger Commanded SS AA 2 DR prior to the formation of the Battle Group . The Battle group took part in the famous "Travelling" Kamenets-Podolsk Pocket and if killed on 15th April your man was unlucky as having survived the heavy fighting this was the day the Kampfgruppe was pulled out and sent back to France to rejoin the rest of the Divison!!
