i'm always on the lookout for photographs to add to the collection. today i noticed this one and it appears to be a problematic example (russian archive fake).

this is on a dealer site. he's a good dealer and honest man in my experience.
i think this is an oversight and i probably should shoot him an e-mail.

Thats nice of you to point it out to him for sure. But most dealers who have been around know of these bad seeds by now. They are infamous unfortunately!!! haha

i know what you mean. but not this guy. he's one of the good guys. i have no idea why he's got it up, but he's not trying to pass it on anyone intentionally. pretty sure of that.

Good to know. Some dealers really arent up to date on the fakes involved in photos, thats all. He's lucky that you caught it so he can learn from it

Hi Guys, I just got screwed on Ebay with this photo. I got caught like a jack mackerel. I just contacted the seller for a refund and waiting to see what he says.

SSamir was unfortunately a victim of "Tolzor1", who was mentioned on the previous page. As you can see.....the scammer goes to the trouble of putting black paper on the reverse to make it look like the photo was torn from a photo album.
