The sniper in the tree is Lieutenant Ludmilla Pavlichenko HOSU, her total confirmed kills during World War II was 309, including 36 enemy snipers !!

As has been pointed out some of the sniper photos are Roza Yegorovna Shanina Senior Sgt in the 184 Rifle Divison , 54 Kills until she was KIA in January 1945.
