    Thanks for the comments guys. Somebody suggested to me that it looked like a Brit truck in the background on the "cap" pic. Also can anyone explain the unusual "view" through the right lens of his glasses on the "cap" pic. My mrs' mate's a photographer i'm gonna get her to take a professional look at them. Stewy

    Hi Stwey, the truck is a Canadian Military pattern 30cwt truck, with a No.11 pattern cab. The DAK used a large amount of captured transpsort.

    Adrian,
    'Large amount' is an understatement. Due to lack of supplies, attrition etc the Germans use of captured vehicles was prolific, so much so that opposite sides often blundered into enemy camps in the belief they were friendly...
