Thanks alot, I appreciate that. The quality of the photo helped alot too, as the smaller details in the image really helps bring out the correct colors (if the right colors are used!)
Do you know what the circular badge is underneath his rank chevron??
I posted this picture in another thread, and I think we came to the consensus that the "circular badge" is just a fold in the fabric of his sleeve. Members of this forum who are more experienced than I said that badges were not worn on that location.

Hmmm. I did indeed know there wasnt supposed to be a patch there, but it really does look like there is something there! I guess the only reasonable explanation could be as they said, a crease in the fabric or maybe a glitch in the printing process, when they printed the photo. But it has a white line around it that is a lighter shade than the uniform. haha I guess we'll never know! lol Nice photo BTW
Richard- I havent forgot about ya, I promise!
And thank you everyone for the comments, it makes it worth while!

mmm. I can try a high quality photo of a photo! But in all honesty, scanned photos do come out alot better.
I have 3 that I am doing from PM requests right now and then have Richards, but I would be happy to give yours a shot after!

i have no problem with scanning it, i was just curious which you preferred. Mine is a photo of my grandfather in his uniform, unfortunately its a rather bad quality photo.

I will do my best, but as you said.....unfortunately the quality of the photo is poor, so it might not come out looking correctly. But I will give it a shot for you. Im not sure a scan would do much for it either way tho to be honest, so this will do. Its sad that some (especially US) photos just dont last over time. But at least you have a pic of him in uniform....that is cool IMO!
